Stop keratoconus from holding you back and discover new clarity for daily life.
What Is Keratoconus?
Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition in which the typically dome-shaped cornea thins out and protrudes into a cone-like shape. This irregular curvature causes light entering the eye to scatter, leading to blurry or distorted vision and heightened light sensitivity.
Often starting in the teenage years or early adulthood, keratoconus can advance for two or three decades before stabilizing. In its less severe forms, glasses or contact lenses may suffice for a while, but as the cornea becomes increasingly conical, more specialized treatments become crucial. Early detection and diagnosis are key to halting the condition before it significantly disrupts your vision and daily routines.
